The Scale of Perception
WHAT IF A SCALE HAS NO NUMBER?
True That is a scale which is aimed at young overweight male customers from 18 to 24 years old. The design typology based on a research show that young overweight men are less likely to have a self awareness about their weight due to the misperception of their body image. This may lead to future health problems.
The scale contains a series of lighting, which moves around the centre arrow to show the diet process and the classification of the users’ body. It can connect to an app so that they can also see their result and structure their weight by analysing what they have eaten during the day. This is a totally new experience, unlike a conventional scale that can only show the weight.
WHAT IF A DIGITAL CAMERA HAS NO SCREEN ?
ID camera was created to help customers understand ID mobile network’s identity even without using the network. It is small and can easily fit in your hand. The camera lends the visual language of a lomography camera, which enhance a sense of playfulness and individuality. This camera has no screen, which means the user can only see the result after they connect it to an app via wifi.
The conventional camera, phone camera and social media applications nowadays require users to stay in front of the screen in order to capture a good photo. Users therefore often miss out on the scenery and action happening in front of them. They forget that they should enjoy the experience rather than taking it for the sake of a beautiful picture. ID camera works perfectly as a travel camera, as it helps capturing a moment while allowing users to enjoy it fully.
